STORY

SKIN tells the story of Eleni, an 11-year old girl.

In the not-so-distant-future (or is it an obscure present?), a devastating illness shows its face, hitting mostly on young children: once you got it, your whole inner human organism turns to robotic. Periodically, a young human being turns to an android-like on the inside, functioning completely mechanical; even losing an ability to speak.

When Eleni finds out she suffers from that illness, she has to find a way to learn to live with that new organic status. How will she blend in to a rather hostile environment, both socially and mentally?
